It's like someone saying to you, "Have you stopped robbing banks?" You say, "I've never robbed a bank." They say, "Prove it."

Are you sure she’s a reliable witness? Might be easy to bribe her just saying

One trip to Sephora and a squishy might be all it takes

Personally, this kind of thing doesn't worry me. I know I write my work. My conscience is clear.

Newspaper sales gonna go up since I’ll need to buy one a day to include in my writing selfie, just in case I go into that word doc and tinker with a single sentence. Can’t fake that metadata!

oh my god...just reading this stresses me out! I write in Microsoft Word and will save different drafts if I plan on making major changes but don't do this nearly enough. I have friends who write in Google Docs, which is maybe best because it saves so many versions? Then you have a working list of the day-to-day changes and additions...but my default is still MS Word! what a strange dystopian world where AI tools are falsely detecting AI in real humans' works because AI stole them to begin with! Maybe we just need to submit super rough rough drafts complete with all our spelling and grammar mistakes and tirades that AI would never make!
